Refunds & Returns Policy

Customer satisfaction is our number one priority – the following outlines our cancellation, refund and returns policy. At any point if you have questions or need more information, do not hesitate to contact our customer support team.

Order cancellation

All orders can be cancelled until they are shipped. If your order has been paid and you need to change or cancel it, you must do so by contacting us within 12 HOURS of placing your order. If you would like to cancel your order after the processing has started, there will be a 25% cancellation fees. Once the packaging and shipping process has started, orders can no longer be cancelled.

Refunds & Returns

When can you claim a refund or replacement?

  • You do not receive your package within the guaranteed delivery time
  • The product inside the package has major damage during shipment
  • The product is defective or incomplete

How do you claim a refund?

When can you NOT claim a refund?

  • Your package does not arrive due to factors within your control (e.g. providing the wrong shipping address or not being able to receive it at the provided shipping address)
  • Your package does not arrive due to exceptional circumstances outside the control of UberLightingStore (e.g. not cleared by customs, delayed by a natural disaster, holiday sale rush)
  • Other exceptional circumstances outside the control of UberLightingStore
  • Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded
  • Your order value is under $100.00 (a single use discount coupon will be issued)

When can you NOT claim a refund & return?

  • The bulbs are broken during shipment or the package does not include the bulbs. It is highly recommended to buy the bulbs locally. Information about bulbs availability or base type for each product is mentioned under the “Additional Information” tab on product page
  • The product needs assembling. Almost all of the products listed on UberLightingStore need assembling. Any product that needs assembling, comes with DIY instructions. Assembling instructions are also provided to you in the package or through a video guide online. Having troubles assembling your purchase? Let us know!
  • There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted. (If applicable) – any item not in its original condition, it is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error or any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery

When and where is the refund applied?

  • If you are approved for a refund; within the next 14 days, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment

What if your refund is late or missing? 

  • Check your bank (again) to ensure that the refund is actually missing
  • Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted
  • Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted
  • If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us immediately

Returns

When are you eligible for a return?

  • To be eligible for a return, your product must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging

What happens when you are eligible for a return?

  • You must notify our customer support team immediately in case of a return
  • You must provide the information that the customer support professionals need from you to lodge your claim
  • You must ship the product on the provided address within 7 days of approval

What happens after you have returned the item?

  • Once your return is received and inspected by the merchant, we will send you an email to confirm the receipt of returned item. We will also notify you of the approval of your refund or a new replacement
  • If you are approved for a new replacement of the same item, it will be shipped to you 14 days from the date of approval
  • If you are approved for a refund, it will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days
